Deep Tissue Massage in Bend, Oregon

Deep Tissue massage on the back

My Deep Tissue Massage goes DEEP and targeted to the root of your pain!

For over 20 years I’ve specialized in deep-tissue massage specifically for injury treatment.

Deep tissue massage is a more focused type of massage… with deeper pressure, more targeted strokes, and kneading. It’s a proven manual therapy that penetrates through more layers of tissue and releases the core of chronically tight muscles.

However, experience is often a challenge when trying to find the RIGHT therapist who knows what to do for your unique situation, especially when it comes to working on chronic or hard-to-solve soft tissue problems.

The approach I use to Deep Tissue Massage is DIFFERENT from most other therapists. I use a wide variety of massage techniques and determine the combination that will BEST treat what your body needs.

For over two decades, I’ve felt incredibly tight hips and thighs, stiff necks, low back knots, and aching shoulders melt right under my fingers.

I use advanced techniques that lengthen and separate muscles, allowing you to have more range-of-motion with less pain. I incorporate Active Release Technique, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, Swedish Massage and will often use a combination of
 all in one session!

You’ll notice that I listen closely to you about your specific pain and expectation from each treatment, then determine the combination of techniques that will most likely achieve maximum results.

Often times you may be dealing with issues of pain or range of motion issues that are easily fixed within just one or two sessions.  Other times it may require several treatments to break up scar tissue, adhesions or “stuck” tissue and normalize an entire line of muscles, tendons, ligaments, and connected fascia.

My promise to you is that after our session, you’ll feel better, more relaxed, and more free from restriction. I am confident that I can relieve or eliminate your pain and tension whether you have an injury, the occasional soreness, or suffer from chronic pain.

You’ll feel the HEALING effects of massage throughout your body; but afterwards I’ll always remind you that un-doing chronic tension and injury is achieved with an integrated program. This includes regular massage and release treatment (especially when an injury occurs), exercise, correction of your posture and biomechanics (ways of moving), and of course… relaxation for your muscles!
